The original idea for this short-ish comic was actually developed almost a year ago – I had planned to use it for the `yuumei/DRRR!! contest held by Yuumei Fanbase. But, like an artist, I sketched it out and promptly forgot about it. Until recently.

It’s really quite impossible to sum up my respect for `yuumei - she is just so vastly incredible. Her work is always a thought-provoking explosion of art and concept, and she is a great inspiration.

Aside from me wanting to do something for `yuumei, I also got a tablet recently but haven’t had much time to get used to it, so I wanted a project that could be done in bits and pieces but could still stay interesting for me. I’ve also developed a fascination with comics and the way they can tell stories so... Lo! Y!DRRR!! came to be.

Originally I planned to put out the whole thing after completing everything, but `yuumei’s graduating (Happy Graduation, by the way! ) , which would make things in the comic pretty irrelevant if I don’t finish it by the time she’s 30 or something So I plan to post what I have so far (a pitiful 4-ish pages out of the planned 30 ahaha) over the next few days and just go along with it after that!

It’s taken me like 5 months on-and-off to draw these pages alone LOL so please bear with me! :]

Update: To those who just came here from #Knite-Fliers, I know this belongs more in #Yuumei-Fan-Base but some of the Knites have cameos in here so I thought I'd just post the cover :]
